About the information we list

Fishing Boat Map lists factual information such as boat names, ports, contacts and target fish, based on what each boat publishes on its official website, blog and social media. For catch reports we show only a summary (date, fish, numbers) and headlines, and link to the official source page for details and photos.

Departures, prices and reservations may change. Always confirm directly with each boat. To report an error or ask us to remove a listing, please use the correction form. We will respond promptly.

Analytics

To improve the site we collect aggregate statistics such as pages viewed, referrers and device type (PC / smartphone). We do not store personally identifiable information.

Use of your location

Your device location is used only when you press "Near me", to show nearby boats. It stays on your device and is never sent to or stored on our server. When you search by place name, the search term is sent to location services such as GSI Japan and OpenStreetMap.

Information sent through forms

Information sent via listing requests, catch posts and correction requests is used only to update listings and to contact you. Your contact details are never published.
